Due to the covid 19 sanitary crisis and given that restrictions might bear on international travel at the beginning of 2021, the 2021 General Assembly meeting of EuroMarine will be held online. Sessions will either be spread over two days (26-27 Jan. 2021) or grouped on a single day.
The physical meeting that should have taken place in Lisbon (Portugal) at the invitation of MARE is postponed to a later date.
The online GA meeting will include a short formal business and decision-making session, and a science & scientific strategy session. The programme of the latter will be determined by Steering Committee members invovled in a specific "GA 2021" working group. It will not revolve around scientific activities funded by EuroMarine under its 2019 call for proposals as many of these activities have been postponed to 2021.
Going online represents both a challenge and the opportunity to expand participation in the meeting beyond its usual General Assembly representatives audience.
Please book the dates. Information on the programme and registration will be posted here as it becomes availalbe.
