The Marine Evolution 2018 Conference will take place from 15 to 17 May 2018 this year in Strömstad, Sweden.
The conference will take place over three days, in the beautiful Bohuslän region on the Swedish West Coast (listed as one of the “ten last great wildernesses in the world” by CNN), within the Kosterhavet Marine National Park, strategically located between major international airports in Oslo, Norway and Gothenburg, Sweden. It will host nine sessions, as well as excursion events, evening performances and time for discussions and relaxation. The venue is the Strömstad Spa.
A number of keynote speakers have been confirmed for the event, and there will be a diverse range of topics discussed. These topics range from 'Seascapes and genetic structures', to 'Genome and protein evolution', and 'Human-driven dispersal in marine systems'.
