Interreg Baltic Sea Region Opens Call for Applications for Project Platforms

Interreg Baltic Sea Region has opened a call for applications for project platforms, which enable projects to team up, and in this way increase the impact of the Interreg Baltic Sea Region’s projects and other EU-funded projects in the area. The total budget for a project platform can be up to EUR 1 million. In total 4-6 platforms are expected to be funded depending on the quality of the applications. 

EKLIPSE Call for the Organisation of Capacity Building Events

EKLIPSE is inviting representatives of networks, organisations, projects and other entities to submit proposals to develop capacity building events relevant to the Science-Policy-Society interface, regarding biodiversity, ecosystem services, and related challenges. EKLIPSE seeks to be responsive to community development needs across the European Union by supporting multi-national events that add value to science, policy and society.

Call for Videos for EU Research & Innovation Projects

Research projects which are supported by the EU through Horizon 2020 and previous framework programmes are having a real impact on the life of Europe's citizens and our society as a whole. The projects often have compelling stories to tell. But reaching out to a large non-specialist audience is not always that easy. So we are opening a communication channel based on our network of social media followers to complement your own outreach activities. The aim of this call is to help these projects reach out to a larger audience in the realm of social media.

Call for tenders to establish a Blue Bioeconomy Forum

This new forum's role will be to identify measures to open up markets for emerging products, to explore further research needs, or to point to areas where seed funding is required. The forum will deliver a pipeline of medium to long term projects aiming to grow the EU's blue bioeconomy sector.

The forum should be established from 2018 and will gather all relevant stakeholders, including producers and processors of aquatic biomass for products such as novel foods, feeds, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals and novel materials. 

European Maritime and Fisheries Fund Call for External Experts

The European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) currently has open a 'Call for Experts'. The call is aimed at individuals who are considered experts in a large number of fields related to the aquaculture sector. These sectors include:

First Call for Transnational Access to European Aquatic Mesocosm Facilities in 2018 Open

The recently started EU Research Infrastructure project AQUACOSM (http://aquacosm.eu) has now opened it’s first AQUACOSM Transnational Access Program to fund opportunities to lead or participate in mesocosm experiments at more than 37 aquatic mesocosm facilities located at 18 AQUACOSM partners throughout Europe.

Call for Abstracts: Poster Session 2nd JPI Oceans Conference
