The European Marine Biological Research Infrastructure Cluster (EMBRIC) is designed to accelerate the pace of scientific discovery and innovation from marine bioresources. EMBRIC aims to promote new innovations derived from marine organisms in fields such as drug discovery, novel foods and food ingredients, aquaculture selective breeding, bioremediation, cosmetics and bioenergy.
To help aid the EMBRIC network with these goals, the network is distributing a survey to members of the public, investors and policy makers. The survey will aim to get the opinions of these three diverse groups on subjects that will prove beneficial to the aims of the network.
The insights collected will feed into a roadmap that will be developed as a legacy of EMBRIC. It will be a contribution to the discussion at EU level on the future development of the blue bioeconomy and reinforce the communication between the marine Research Infrastructures, biotech companies and policy makers.
All results will be presented in such a way that it will be impossible to identify individual respondents and no personal data will be saved.
