Interreg Baltic Sea Region has opened a call for applications for project platforms, which enable projects to team up, and in this way increase the impact of the Interreg Baltic Sea Region’s projects and other EU-funded projects in the area. The total budget for a project platform can be up to EUR 1 million. In total 4-6 platforms are expected to be funded depending on the quality of the applications.
The call for project platforms is open for applications in the following specific objectives of the Programme: smart specialisation for priority 1 (Capacity for innovation); clear waters and blue growth for priority 2 (Efficient management of natural resources); as well as interoperability, maritime safety and environmentally friendly shipping for priority 3 (Sustainable transport). In the application process, applicants are expected to submit a project platform idea form which briefly describes the project platform's strategic relevance, main outcomes, core activities and the planned partnership. The completed project platform idea form should be sent to platforminterreg-baltic [dot] eu. Based on submitted project idea forms, MA/JS will organise a consultation, which is a prerequisite for obtaining access to an online application system (BAMOS).
