Interreg Baltic Sea Region has opened a call for applications for project platforms, which enable projects to team up, and in this way increase the impact of the Interreg Baltic Sea Region’s projects and other EU-funded projects in the area. The total budget for a project platform can be up to EUR 1 million. In total 4-6 platforms are expected to be funded depending on the quality of the applications.
The call for project platforms is open for applications in the following specific objectives of the Programme: smart specialisation for priority 1 (Capacity for innovation); clear waters and blue growth for priority 2 (Efficient management of natural resources); as well as interoperability, maritime safety and environmentally friendly shipping for priority 3 (Sustainable transport). In the application process, applicants are expected to submit a project platform idea form which briefly describes the project platform's strategic relevance, main outcomes, core activities and the planned partnership. Based on submitted project idea forms, MA/JS will organise a consultation, which is a prerequisite for obtaining access to an online application system (BAMOS).
