The Hjort summer school targets the question of how to study the complex world of pelagic micro-organisms. The goal of the summer school is to evaluate how the different approaches may fit together to gain an improved system understanding. The course is aimed at PhD students.
Topics discussed will include:
- Community level approaches to microbial diversity and function
- Food web and ecosystem level approaches
- Ways to study patterns that go beyond the distinct scales
The application including a brief description of their research and a letter of support should be sent to Selina Vage
