The Sea Change project, funded by Horizon 2020 and lasting for three years, has recently launched its Love the Ocean campaign as a way of bringing the project to a close. The campaign, which will culminate on Valentine's Day, aims to make people aware of the effects they can have on the Ocean, and to make an online pledge on how you will make changes to have less impact on the Ocean.

‘Love the Ocean’ coincides with the final conference of the EU Horizon 2020 funded Sea Change project on 15 February 2018 at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, concluding three years of empowering and educating citizens to take action for our ocean. The conference will focus on the project’s achievements and plan for the coming years, maintaining the momentum of Ocean Literacy by linking with initiatives worldwide for the upcoming Decade of Ocean Science (2021 – 2030). The campaign is being promoted via Thunderclap now.
