Plymouth Marine Laboratory has two exciting opportunities for Project Managers to deliver the effective and efficient project management of societally important marine, social and earth observation research. Position 1 will primarily project manage a large- scale programme that involves numerous partners from the UK and S.E Asia working together to support economic growth, food security, and health and well-being of coastal communities through sustainable use of marine environmental resources in SE Asia. Position 2 will support the project management of a portfolio of projects of interdisciplinary and pioneering research across the various science areas at PML.

Position 1 – Project Manager, Open Ended Appointment (£29,874 - £35,346)

This is an exciting opportunity to project manage a large-scale programme that involves numerous partners from the UK and S.E Asia working together to support economic growth, food security, and health and well-being of coastal communities through sustainable use of marine environmental resources in SE Asia. The successful candidate will also manage and support other PML projects as required. This role will involve frequent travel abroad.

Position 2 – Junior Project Manager, 12 month fixed term appointment (£22,404 - £27,165)

This is an exciting opportunity to support the project management of a portfolio of projects across the various science areas at PML. PML's interdisciplinary and pioneering research focuses on the fascinating dynamic and complex marine environment that sustains life not only under the water but also across the entire planet.
