The DYNECO (Dynamics of Coastal Ecosystems) research unit is one component of the Oceanography and Ecosystems Dynamics department.

The aims/objectives of the researcher, based at Ifremer, Brittany Centre (Brest), France will be:
• To develop innovative models to simulate the evolutions of sediment habitats from short term (event scale) up to long term (10-100 years).
• To initiate and lead multidisciplinary research topics on sediment habitat dynamics associating observation, experimentation and modelling.

The work will be conducted in close collaboration with several Ifremer benthologists, physicists, sedimentologists, habitat modellers in the following Research Units: DYNECO, Unité Littoral, LOPS (Spatial and Physic Oceanography Lab).
