AquaTT is currently seeking someone to fill the current vacancy for a Scientific Project Assistant. This is an entry level position, with a full-time six month contract with a chance of renewal. The Project Assistant (PA) will join AquaTT's existing team and contribute to the management and administration of AquaTT’s current portfolio of EU-funded projects. AquaTT’s roles in projects typically fall under the umbrella of knowledge management activities including dissemination, communication, education, stakeholder engagement and knowledge management and transfer.
The successful applicant must be pro-active, diligent and dedicated. It essential that the applicant has some of the following skills: Educated to degree level in a scientific domain; Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to communicate clearly, courteously, and professionally to both scientific and other stakeholders; Good ability to work in a team and in multicultural environments, and sound working knowledge of MS Office systems. Alongside these, it is desirable that the candidate have project management qualifications and/or experience, event management experience, alongside a personal enthusiasm for playing a role in science communications.
