Under the coordination of EMBRC-ERIC, the Scientific Project Manager and Access Officer will closely follow the implementation of the Assemble+ project, with a focus on the Joint Research Activity, Transnational Access Activity and Networking Activity which the project will deliver.
The European Marine Biological Resource Centre (EMBRC) is a distributed pan-European research infrastructure that aims to provide a strategic delivery mechanism for excellent and large-scale marine science in Europe. With its services, EMBRC will support both fundamental and applied research based on marine bioresources and marine ecosystems. The EMBRC is centrally managed by the EMBRC Executive Director, with the support of the EMBRC Secretariat, based at the Paris Headquarters, hosted by Université Pierre et Marie Curie - Paris VI, Campus of Jussieu.
ASSEMBLE Plus will provide scientists from academia, industry and policy with a quality-assured programme of Transnational Access (TA) and Virtual Access (VA) to marine biological stations offering a wide variety of marine ecosystems, unique marine biological resources, state-of-the-art experimental and analytical facilities with integrated workflows, historical observation data, and advanced training opportunities. The goal is to stimulate European excellence in fundamental and applied research in marine biology and ecology, thereby improving our knowledge- and technology-base for the blue economy, policy and education purposes.
EMBRC is looking for a motivated and proficient Scientific Project Manager and Access Officer to support the implementation of the Assemble Plus EU H2020 project, which EMBRC-ERIC coordinates.
