International Conference on Molluscan Shellfish Safety (ICMSS)

ICMSS2017 will be hosted by The Marine Institute, Galway, in association with Bord Iascaigh Mhara, The Food Safety Authority of Ireland, The Sea Fisheries Protection Authority, The Irish Shellfish Association and National University of Ireland in the Bailey Allen Hall in NUI Galway.  This is the 11th conference in this series and offers an important multidisciplinary interface between regulatory, scientific and industrial representatives of the international molluscan food safety community.  It is a biannual forum where unusual, emerging and novel shellfish risk factors are

2nd International Conference of Marine Fungal Natural Products (MaFNaP) 2017

Save the date - the GEOMAR Centre for Marine Biotechnology (GEOMAR-Biotech) at Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel (Germany) are organising the 2nd International Conference of Marine Fungal Natural Products (MaFNaP) that will be held in Kiel (Germany) from 27-29 June 2017. This event aims at gathering an international consortium to discuss new developments and approaches within the field of marine fungal research.

International Symposium: Drivers of Dynamics of Small Pelagic Fish Resources

The goal of the 2017 symposium is to revitalize global international cooperation on investigations of SPF and to identify, discuss and develop a framework to address unanswered questions such as the impact of climate and/or fishing pressure on the resilience of small pelagic populations using a comparative approach. Because of the importance of environmental and anthropogenic drivers on small pelagic resources, the participation of experts in physical oceanography, climate, and socio-economics is essential.

Registration and abstract submission is open.

1st EKLIPSE conference - save the date

To present the first outputs of EKLIPSE, identify further knowledge needs with respect to biodiversity in the context of nature-based solutions and to further develop our joint networking, EKLIPSE will organise jointly with partners including BiodivERsA and EPBRS a series of workshops and conferences from 6th to 8th of December in Brussels – you will receive further information on this in due time – but save the date if your network is interested in attending.
