The 10th Euro-Global Summit on Aquaculture & Fisheries, taking place this year in London, will see a significant number of speakers give talks to attendees at the event. The theme of this year's conference is 'Impeccable Growth of the Aquaculture & Fisheries Sector'.
The Vessel Performance Optimisation (VPO) conference is a one-day event that will take place in London on 20 June 2018. The event will consist of three core themes. These are Ship Design and Retrofitting, Performance Management and Ship Operations - Strategies For 2020 Compliance. Once these three topics have been covered, the day will conclude with a roundtable discussion.

Nausicaa, the National Sea Centre, is inviting interested individuals to the High Seas International Conference, to raise public awareness and mobilise civil society on the challenges of the High Seas. The conference is co-organised with l'Agence Française pour la Biodiversité (AFB), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the Global Ocean Forum, The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the World Ocean Network and the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
In the Atlantic Ocean, one of the best-studied deep-sea regions is the Azores Triple Junction and surrounding platform. This area is considered a hotspot of biodiversity, biogeochemical and oceanographic processes.
The 11th edition of Sea Tech Week will take place in the Brest Congress Centre, France. The event is a major European networking event, where over 1,000 participants are estimated to attend. The participants will range from researchers and industrialists, to decision-makers and other individuals involved in marine science in some capacity.
The main theme of the 2018 edition is marine bioresources, within which there is a broad spectrum of topics, from resource characterisation and production to economic development.
The third edition of the Integrated Carbon Observation System (ICOS) Conference will take place in Prague, Czech Republic from 11-13 September 2018. The conference will thematically revolve around biogases and cycles as central topics, and the event will also mark the launching of the #ICOScapes Photo Exhibition. This exhibition will consist of photographs of the ICOS stations and activities.

Initiated by the EuroGOOS Glider Task team and aligned with the objectives of the OceanGliders associated program of the GOOS, it will focus on technical and strategic issues related to the EGO format and real time/delayed mode - physical/BioGeoChemical gliders data management and will try to address compatibility issues with IOOS and IMOS glider data formats in a more global context.
