The University of Aberdeen is currently advertising for two research positions. Both positions are those of a research fellow, with one for quantitative ecology and another in theoretical ecology.

The quantitative ecology position provides an exciting opportunity for a highly-motivated researcher with skills in sophisticated statistical analysis of mark-recapture data, or of other complex datasets in ecology or evolutionary biology, and interest in linking empirical and theoretical population ecology. It provides opportunities to work within established successful research teams at University of Aberdeen and Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, and ample opportunities for further high-level scientific training, publication and career advancement.

The theoretical ecology position provides an exciting opportunity for a highly-motivated researcher with skills in theoretical ecology, and interest in linking population ecology theory with insights emerging from empirical studies. It provides opportunities to work within established successful research teams at University of Aberdeen and Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, and ample opportunities for further high-level scientific training, publication and career advancement.

Both positions have the same deadline of 28 September 2017.
