Seagrass Ocean Rescue are a research and conservation collaboration between Swansea University, WWF and Project Seagrass that seeks to facilitate, inspire and act to restore 3000 hectares of seagrass by 2030. The organisation is seeking a research officer to join its team.
The main duties of the role are:
- Provide scientific leadership to seagrass site assessments and surveys
- Lead seagrass planting trials at Seagrass Ocean Rescue sites in North wales and the Solent.
- Prepare scientific reports and papers as outputs from Seagrass Ocean Rescue.
- Provide support towards Seagrass Ocean Rescue team motivation.
